Phoenix, Ariz.-- - The University of Memphis women's tennis team moved to 4-3 for the season with a 6-3 victory over Weber State, Saturday.
The Lady Tigers won two of the three doubles matches, with the freshman duo of Sabrina Lindemann and Sumitra Rao defeating the team of Aimee Evans/Veronica Reynosa, 8-4. Claire O'Donoghue and Annika Westberg posted the other doubles win for the Lady Tigers with an 8-6 win over Summer Marshall/Tara Rosenzweig.
This was the third match in three days for the Lady Tigers, where they finished 2-1. Memphis continues on the road at UA-Montgomery, Friday, at 11 a.m. and at Troy State, Saturday at 9:30 a.m.
