Memphis, Tenn.-- - The University of Memphis men's tennis team will put its six-match winning streak on the line against NAIA No. 4 Oklahoma Christian beginning at 2 p.m., Saturday at The Racquet Club. Memphis extended its winning streak to six with a win at No. 58 Arkansas, Tuesday, 5-2.

The Tigers are again peaking at the end of the regular season after struggling with injuries in the early part of the year. Last season, Memphis won 11 of its final 12 matches, including the consolation championship at the Conference USA Tournament.

The U of M, which does not have a senior on its roster, is hurting the opposition with its depth. Three Tigers have already hit the 10-win mark this season. That trio plays at the No. 2, 4, and 5 spots and the Tigers No. 3 singles player already has nine wins this season.

That depth is also playing into the thick of things on the doubles side. The Australian combo of junior Alistair Todd and freshman Ben Stapp has handled a majority of the No. 1 doubles matches, earning a 13-6 record while facing the top doubles opponents in all but three Tiger matches.

The Saturday match will be the Tigers' final non-conference match as Memphis travels to Saint Louis to participate against No. 54 DePaul and host Saint Louis, Apr. 8-9, before travelling to Southern Miss for the Conference USA Tournament, Apr. 13-15.
