CBS College Sports Will Carry Three Tiger Football Games in 2008

MEMPHIS, TENN. - CBS College Sports Network has selected three Tiger football games to be broadcast nationally this coming season, and could add additional games at a later date.

CBS College Sports Network will air the Conference USA match-up between Memphis and Rice at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium on September 6 with kick off slated for 7 p.m. The national network will carry the Thursday, October 2, meeting with the UAB Blazers in Birmingham at 7 p.m., and will return to the Mid-South later in the month to air the Memphis-Southern Miss rivalry game at the Liberty Bowl on Saturday, October 25. Known as the Black and Blue Bowl, the contest is slated to kick off at 7 p.m.

In addition to the selected CBS College Sports games, Memphis will also appear on national television on Friday, October 10, when the Tigers host the Louisville Cardinals on ESPN at the Liberty Bowl.
