Scott Robinson is in his fourth year with the University of Memphis basketball program in 2007-08. This year, he continues his managerial duties but as a graduate student at the university.
Robinson earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administation in May 2007. A Dean's List student, he graduated magna cum laude, and was a Golden Key Honor Society member and a Presidential Ambassador.
Robinson continues his duties as head manager this season, setting up daily practices, preparing the locker room and bench area for games, compiling statistics during practices and games and participating in staff meetings.
During the last three years as the Tigers' head manager, Robinson was a part of the most successful run in Memphis basketball history. The Tigers won 88 games from 2004-05 through 2006-07, including a school-record 33 victories in 2005-06 and 2006-07. Memphis captured consecutive Conference USA regular season and tournament titles and advanced to the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight the last two seasons. The 2004-05 squad played in the C-USA Tournament title game and advanced to the NIT final four.
This past summer, Robinson worked as a camp instructor at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.
The Danville, Ind., native played and also served as a student assistant coach at Crichton College from 2001-04. During his time there, Crichton was the 2002-03 Mid-East Regional champion and placed sixth in the national tournament.
