MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Due to rain in the Memphis area, this afternoon's baseball game between the Memphis Tigers and the Samford Bulldogs has been canceled.

Memphis (8-10), who put up big offensive numbers in an 18-9 victory over Samford on Tuesday night, will now look ahead to its Conference USA opener against UAB on Fri., Mar. 21. The Tigers and Blazers will battle it out in a three-game weekend series, with Friday's first pitch set for 6:35 p.m. at Nat Buring Stadium.
