2007 (Freshman): Was forced into action due to injuries on the Tiger pitching staff...Came out of the bullpen in his first five outings and notched a 1-0 mark with a 4.09 ERA...Success moved him into the Tigers' midweek starter role where he won three of his four decisions...Made six starts in his 11 appearances...Memphis was 5-1 in his six starts...Registered a 4.73 ERA, making him one of four Memphis pitchers to post an ERA under 5.00...Was 4-1 on the year...Held opponents to a .290 batting average...Struck out 23 in 45.2 innings of action...Tossed one of Memphis' three complete games...Was 3-1 with a 4.93 ERA and 16 strikeouts in his six starts...Went the distance and scattered nine hits in Memphis' C-USA Tournament win over Houston (5/23/07)...Won three times in the U of M's final 16 games...Hurled one and one thirds scoreless innings in his collegiate debut to earn his first collegiate win over Akron (3/16/07)...Did not allow a run through his first 6.2 innings pitched...Held Mississippi State scoreless and fanned two in 4.2 innings of relief (3/28/07)...Was solid in his first career start, striking out three in 6.1 innings vs. Austin Peay (4/17/07)...Won his final three decisions...Struck out four and allowed two runs in 6.1 innings to earn the win over Arkansas State (5/8/07)...Sat down a season-high six and allowed just one earned run in a 5-3 win over UT-Martin (5/15/07).
