Carl Evans joined the Tiger Scholarship Fund staff as Assistant Director in November of 2006. In January of 2008 he was promoted to Director of the Tiger Scholarship Fund. His main responsibilities include oversight of the Annual Fund for the Tigers, the cultivation of current donors and the prospecting of new donors to increase support for the Tiger Scholarship Fund.
Evans began his career in development at the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV), working in the Rebel Athletic Fund from January 2004 through October 2006. During his tenure at UNLV annual support for the Rebel Athletic Fund increased by 21%.
Evans is a native of Ramah, New Mexico. He received his bachelor's degree from Weber State University. While there he had the opportunity to play wide receiver for the Wildcat football team and went on to receive his master's degree in athletic administration from UNLV.
Evans and his wife Starla have two daughters, Skye (November '02) and Delanie (June '04). They currently reside in Cordova.
