Questions and Answers about The Priority Point System

Q1: I have never had basketball tickets. What do I have to do to qualify to buy tickets?
A1: Purchase privileges will be based on Tiger Clubs membership levels and total accumulated priority points. The most important factors in the Priority Plan are membership in the Tiger Clubs and points in the Point System. The best way to qualify for basketball season tickets is by contributing to the Tiger Clubs. All tickets remaining after allocations to all Tiger clubs membership will be made available to the general public.

Q2: If season tickets were purchased based on Tiger Clubs donations, do I have to maintain the same membership as the first year I received the tickets?
A2: Tiger Clubs membership level should be maintained at the same level to insure automatic renewal privileges and general seating location/ If the membership level drops, purchase privileges for the next season will be re-determined by the level of donations of all people in the Priority Plan.

Q3: Does my donation amount include the price of my tickets or apply to the price of tickets?
A3: No. Tickets must be purchased at the established price in addition to donations.

Q4: I donate at the Super Tiger level ($5000) which entitles me to six (6) tickets in the prime area of The Pyramid. Will I be able to purchase additional tickets?
A4: Yes, you can purchase additional tickets. You have two options. To purchase additional seats near your original six, you must make an additional pro-rated donation. For instance, at the Super Tiger level it would require an additional $833 donation per seat ($5000/6 tickets = $833 per seat). Another option is to purchase additional tickets after all Tiger Club levels have selected their seating with no extra donation required.

Q5: If I make a $1000 donation in order to get good seats in The Pyramid, what will happen if I don't continue to make $1000 donation the following year?
A5: Your annual contribution must be made to keep seats in the general area. If your contribution level changes, your seating location will change.

Q6: I would like to sit with another season ticket holder in The Pyramid. How can we get our seats together?
A6: The higher priority level would have to wait for the lower priority level to select their seats.

Q7: I am a current season ticket holder. If I do not make a donation to Tiger Clubs, when will my tickets be assigned?
A7: Your tickets will be assigned after the location of all Tiger Club members have been assigned. Your tickets will be assigned based on your priority point total.

Q8: I currently donate to the Tracker Associate ($50-$249) level but I do not have season basketball tickets. Will I have the opportunity to purchase tickets in The Pyramid? If so, when would my tickets be assigned?
A8: All Tiger Club members will have the first opportunity to purchase basketball season tickets before anyone else. Seating locations will be assigned by your Tiger Club level points accumulated within the system.

Q9: I am a current season ticket holder in The Pyramid. If I do not make a Tiger Club donation, will people who did not have season tickets be assigned seats in The Pyramid before mine are assigned?
A9: Yes, if they are a Tiger Club member. All ticket locations will be determined by Tiger Club level first and by the number of priority points accrued.

Q10: I have been buying tickets under someone else's name and making the donation in that person's name. Will these past donations give me any credit towards purchasing tickets in my name?
A10: No. Tiger Club accounts should be set up in the name of the ticket holder and not in that of a second party.

Q11: I have been purchasing tickets from another individual. Can I purchase these tickets in my name?
A11: No. Transfers of season tickets are not allowed. You will be allowed to purchase season tickets in your own name to establish your own priority if you are a Tiger Club member.

Q12: Am I required to make a donation to Tiger Clubs to purchase tickets in The Pyramid?
A12: No. However, Tiger Club members will have the first opportunity to purchase tickets. After all Tiger Club members have purchased tickets then all remaining tickets will be made available to the general public.

Q13: I enjoy traveling to watch the Tigers play on the road. I frequently go to football away games and basketball tournaments. How are the tickets assigned to these games?
A13: Tickets are assigned based on Tiger Club membership level and by the Priority Point System within each level.

Q14: Will handicap seating be available?
A14: Handicap seating will be provided by facility as it is prescribed by federal law.

Q15: Are donations to the Tiger Clubs tax deductible?
A15: Yes, to the extent allowed by the law. We suggest you consult your individual tax advisor for deductibility.

Q16: I had season tickets in 1965-66. I still have season tickets for men's basketball and have been making a Tiger Club donation. Do I still need to make a Tiger Club contribution?
A16: No, if you wish to only purchase two (2) season tickets in the Special Coliseum Section. However, if you want priority seating a Tiger Clubs donation is required.
